These Binx Black Cat Cookies are fun and easy recipe for celebrating Halloween. We already loved Nutter Butters, and they just get so much better when you add in chocolate!
The best part? Your kids can help make these cookies with you! We love the tradition of decorating cookies together!
The cookies are also super cute for a Halloween party or fun classroom treat, but you could make them anytime of the year for your favorite cat lover or vet!
What You’ll Need for Hocus Pocus Cookies
- 6 oz black candy melts
- 20 green M&Ms
- 1/2 cup white candy melts
- 5 heart confetti sprinkles (broken in half to make 10)
- 10 nutter butter cookies
- 20 chocolate chips
How to Make
Start by melting the black candy melts using the package’s instructions.
Dip each Nutter Butter into the melted black candy mixture. Then place on parchment paper.
Before the candy dries and hardens – top with 2 green M&Ms for the eyes, 1/2 of the heart sprinkle for the nose, and chocolate chips for the ears.
Melt the white candy melt using the packages instructions. Then use a pastry brush to draw on the whiskers. We also used the leftover black candy melt to place black on the eyes of the green M&Ms.
Let dry before serving.
