What You’ll Need:
- 9×13 of Brownies (We used boxed brownie mix)
- 1 Container Vanilla or White Frosting
- Black Food Coloring
- Pastry Bag
- Circle Cookie Cutter
How to Make Easy Jack Skellington Brownies
- Make the brownies according to the instructions on the box (or use your own homemade recipe). Once they’re cool, run a knife around the pan to release the brownies evenly.
- Then place them on a cooling rack by laying the cooling rack over top of pan and flipping. Be careful because pan will still be hot.
- Once the brownies are out of the pan, place a cookie sheet over and flip again, so brownies are right side up.
- Now, use the circle cookie cutter to cut out as many circles as you can from the brownies. Let them cool completely.
- Add 3 drops of black food coloring to ¼ cup of the frosting and mix thoroughly. Place black frosting into pastry bag and cut off small/medium tip.
- Ice the top of the cooled brownies with white frosting.
- Now, use the black frosting to create Jack Skellington’s face — candy corn shaped eyes slanted along top of brownie and two slanted small lines for a nose. Finish by adding in his smile and “stitches”.
