How to Recreate Kevin Mccallister’s Sundae Bar:
1. Choose your board.
You can use a charcuterie board or even a nice cutting board to set up your toppings.
2. Fill up 3 or more bowls of small toppings like sprinkles.
The bowls give the board some structure design wise and will keep the small items from going everywhere.
3. Put larger candies and items around the bowls.
This will help fill up the board and give it a variety of textures and colors. We like to vary where something goes on the board based on its color. You don’t want all the colorful items on one side and all the white stuff on another.
4. Finish with the smaller pieces.
In the remaining areas, place your smaller candies and toppings.
Enjoy!
No charcuterie board? No problem!!
You could also use a muffin pan!
Use the muffin holes as bowls and then fill the spice between with a variety of items like candy bars, marshmallows, and other larger toppings.
