Tips on Making A Jello Mold
How do you keep Jello from sticking to the mold?
You’ll want to generously spray your bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray before starting.
Then, you can use a warm small spatula or pointed knife (heat it under warm water) to loosen the edge. You can also dip the mold into warm water just to rim for 10 seconds to loosen it from the mold.
Do I cover jello in the fridge?
As your jello begins to thicken up, you can put it in the refrigerator. You’ll want to cover it with plastic wrap once it’s cooled; otherwise, it can take longer for it to set up if it’s covered warmed.
Why is my jello not setting?
If you’re jello mold isn’t setting, your gelatin may have not completely dissolved before the cold water was added. It also takes at least 6 hours for the jello to set, and it can be even longer with a mold — so don’t panic if it takes a little while.
How do you fix Jello that didn’t set up?
If you’re jello didn’t set up, you can try to fix it by combining it with 1 cup boiling water with a small box of jello of the same flavor (3oz box).
