- 1/3 cup red candy melts

How do I make Cinnamon Roll Santa Hats?
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and begin separating the cinnamon rolls.
Unroll each roll.
You’ll then want to shape the dough into a triangle and place them on the lined baking sheet.
To make Santa’s hat: zig-zag the dough from the bottom to the top – weaving back and fourth. Each zig-zag should be a tad smaller than the last in order to make a triangle shape.
Now, you’re ready to bake the cinnamon rolls for 12 to 15 minutes — or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely. (If you have a wire rack, you could use it to help them cool faster as well!)
As the rolls cool, start melting the candy melts according to the package’s directions.
Using a butter knife, spreader, or piping bag, spread the melted candy over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
Finish by decorating the Santa hat with mini marshmallows at the bottom and one at the top of the triangle.
Let the chocolate candy cool and harden before serving.
These Christmas morning cinnamon rolls are pretty easy to make and straightforward.
You could always mix it up if you wanted!
Cinnamon Roll Variations
If you don’t have candy melts, you could add red food coloring to the provided frosting. Then use the smooth cream cheese icing all over the hat.
You could also make cinnamon roll Christmas trees! You’d follow the same instructions, but instead of red candy melts, you’d want to use green. Then, you can decorate each tree with treats and candy.
In a hurry? You could also just do white frosting with Christmas sprinkles!
