Notes
*We used 1 serving for the pancakes. For our Cracker Barrel pancake mix, this meant 2 cups of mix, 1 cup milk, and 1 egg. You can use any brand -- just make sure to follow the instructions on the box -- or your favorite recipe for pancakes.
The bottle for the pancake mix just makes it easier to make the shapes.
You could also use candy eyes for their eyes versus the writing gel.
Don't like strawberries? Any fresh berries or fruit cut into heart shapes can add a pop of color to the plate.
