These Harry Potter Witch Hat Cookies are the perfect addition to your movie night! You could also call them Sorting Hat cookies — though they’re a little cuter than the talking hat that chooses whether you’re a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff!
We are huge Harry Potter fans! We even ordered a Butterbeer Frappuccino off of Starbuck’s secret menu! While we love the books, there is nothing like getting together with your family or friends to watch the Harry Potter movies!

What You’ll Need
The thing we love most about this recipe is that it’s super easy! You don’t need to cover anything with chocolate, and they’re ready in just 5 minutes!
- Fudge Stripe cookies
- Hershey’s Kisses
- Frosting (We used orange frosting.)
- Sprinkles (We used yellow and orange sprinkles.)
You could do chocolate or white frosting with different color sprinkles to represent each Hogwarts’ House if you wanted as well!
Hogwarts’ House Colors
- Gryffindor – scarlet and gold
- Slytherin – green and silver
- Ravenclaw – blue and bronze
- Hufflepuff – yellow and black
You can also use orange and yellow like we did to make them generic Harry Potter Witch Hat Cookies.

How to Make
- Unwrap the Hershey’s Kisses so that you can see the chocolate.
- Using a butter knife, spread a little dollop of frosting onto the bottom of each chocolate kiss.
- Face the fudge stripe side of the cookie face down and place the Hershey’s Kiss in the middle of the cookie, pushing down slightly so the icing spreads to the outside of the candy.
- Add sprinkles to the frosting, around the candy.
- Serve and enjoy!

- 24 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions
